Write to us to fix a detail, suggest an inspector or a company that is missing, or manage the listing of your own business.
A detail that changed
If an inspector or a repair or pest control company has moved, changed its phone number or hours, or closed, email info@inspectordex.com with its name and city. We check it and update the listing.
A company that is missing
If you know an inspector or a foundation, water damage, mold, radon or pest control company that should be on a list, tell us its name, what it does and where it works. Read “How we select” first to see what a company needs to qualify.
If the company is yours
Use the “Inspect, repair or treat homes?” link to claim your listing, keep your services, hours and contact details up to date, and see the visibility plans. If your company is not listed, ask us from there to look at it.
We cannot advise on your house
We cannot answer questions about a particular home, an inspection report, a mold or radon result, a leak, a repair, a treatment or a quote. For that, talk to the company you hire. If you smell gas or think there is an immediate danger, leave the building and call 911.
A complaint about a company
We do not mediate disputes or step into the relationship between you and a company. Start by writing to the company. If the work is licensed in your state, the board or agency that issued the license may take complaints. You can also try your state attorney general's consumer protection office.
